Masintõlge, ojee. Mulle käis hirmsasti pinda, et Google oli hakanud otsingukeele seadmisel leitud asju sellesse keelde tõlkima. Aga õnneks sai selle koha kuskilt välja lülitada (mis tähendab, et peab olema Google'isse sisse logitud, siis hoiab meeles).
Ajal, mil masintõlget eesti keelde veel ei olnud, arvasin kunagi ühe tõlke kohta, et ohhoo, ma ei teadnudki, et masintõlge eesti keelde on võimalik. Mäletamisi oli see mingi kaubakataloog ja impressumis oli kogunisti tõlkefirma nimi kirjas. Hilisem kokkupuude sama firmaga kinnitas seda muljet.
Ja veel, ma olen kunagi kirjutanud või tahtnud kirjutada tagasisidesse tõlkijale, et isegi masintõlge oleks parem olnud kui see, mida ta ise kokku susserdas.
